Helpful Hints: Additional Scrapbooking Project

Magic: Performance

  1. Use diagrams on page 48 of our Magic™ how-to book 
  2. Lightly sponge edges of all papers and zip strips with Black ink.
  3. Stamp small flourish with Goldrush ink on straight edge of E and about 1 1/2" from bottom of J; use Blending Pen to add shadows, if desired.
  4. Assemble layout according to pattern in Magic on page 49, attaching all photos with 3-D foam tape, if desired.
  5. Stamp title in empty Colonial White space between B and C using stamp swiping technique and ink colors of choice.
  6. Stamp fence image with second generation Black ink, masking off owl portion.
  7. Stamp owl portion of fence image with Smokey Plum ink.
  8. Stamp sentiment with second generation Black ink on J.
  9. Fold 4" and 3 1/2" zip strips into faux bows; attach larger bow on left page and smaller bow on right page.
  10. Attach two large, four medium, eight small, two bitty Sparkles, and two epoxy badge buttons.

  1. Tip: As you cut the paper, sort the pieces per each side of the blocks so that each side has its own stack.
  2. Cut the remaining papers of choice, as desired, making sure to cut twelve each of the following sizes: 2 3/4" × 2 3/4", 1/2" × 2 3/4", and 1/4" × 2 3/4"; feel free to add additional paper embellishments as desired.
  3. Sponge corners and edges of both blocks and all papers with Black ink.
  4. Sponge surface of Dimensional Elements numbers with ink of choice; it is best to use one color for all. You will need two of numbers 0, 1 and 2 and one each of numbers 3–9.
  5. Stamp as desired.
  6. Embellish, as desired.
