May Cut Scrap & Paste Cards

Oh my goodness, where did the month go? I have been crazy busy with the kids and their after school activities! I am so looking forward to summer vacation and a break, but I know that I will be ready for school to start back up in September!

What are your summer plans? I am so excited to just hang out and do not much of anything except go to the pool!! Woot Woot!

Here are the cards for May. I love how these cards turned out! Cards are very difficult for me to make! I really struggle with the designs. I hope you enjoy! If you want to make the cards, just let me know, I have paper cut and ready just for you! The cost is $12.00 and you can make 2 each of the 5 different designs.

Four Great Reasons to LOVE Workshops on the Go!

I love the Workshops On The Go! WOTG is a workshop that Close To My Heart started with the launch of the Fall/Winter 2009 catalog. A WOTG kit includes a 12x12 Level 2 paper pack, a B size stamp set, an embellishment and a workshop guide all for $29.95, (a savings of $5-7). All four new paper packs in the current catalog have a WOTG.

My favorite reason for the WOTG, is the B size stamp set, is exclusive! That means, you can only get it if you order the WOTG! Another thing, is, it is a surprise, even to the consultants. But, I absolutely love this new catalog (available May 1). So, I am going to share with you pictures of the stamp sets available only with the WOTG and only available during the current catalog (May 1 - Aug 31).

Topstictch

The Topstitch papers are so fun! I really loved working with them. I had so much fun, I pulled out a drawer of Kylies pictures and thought this paper pack will be great for some of her pictures.

The first layout is the layout that comes with the directions in the workshop. There was even some sewing involved. Whew! I didn't realize scrapbooking could be so much work. I sure do love all of the layouts that I do! I am so happy that I found Close To My Heart and became a consultant. This is they type of scrapbooking that I love. Plus - there are directions for everything, so I never have to think. It is faster, simpler, easier - Oh wait, that is the motto for CTMH! LOVE IT!

There is a picture of the second layout in the workshop guide, all you have to do is look into either Cherish, Imagine or Reflections for the cutting instructions.

And wait, there is more....paper that is. I had so much paper left over that I created two more layouts with this one paper pack. I still have more paper and I will create more layouts with this paper. I love the colors.

So, not only did I do the Workshop on the Go layouts and extra, I did two more on my own.

Studio J Layouts

I again have gone through a crazy scrapbook phase - only this time it was Studio J! Yes, digital scrapbooking! I love it, Studio J is so much fun, fast and easy.

Studio J will be launched (hopefully) mid April for all to play! I put these layouts together in a matter of a few hours. Whereas, creating them, the traditional way, it would have taken a couple of days. Cutting the papers, and putting the pictures on the pages, usually doesn't take me that long, but adding the stamping and all of the embellishments can take awhile. I love scrapbooking, but it definitely can take me awhile.
With this layout - I decided I glued it to one of our true fit folios. I can now add all of the little papers that came home from school that year. I plan on using the true fit folios for each of the kids on their first day of school. I will be able to stuff their report cards or anything else of importance from that school year!

Tim ran the Army 10-Miler last October! I probably would never have scrapbooked these pictures, if it hadn't been for Studio J! I am so excited that they are complete. If you have any questions, about studio J, please call me!
