Happy New Year 2010!

2010 is upon us! I can't help but think about all of the wonderful things in store for our family in the upcoming year.

Tim will have a new job, the kids, new friends, and me - new friends and family near. We are waiting impatiently for our new assignment with the Air Force. It is tough. I have the travel bug and really want to move back to Europe. I also want to live near family. My parents live in a town with an Air Force base - so that is an option also. My sister and her family are waiting also for their next assignment. There is a chance that we could be stationed together. Hmm - how often does that happen in the military world. There is good bad and ugly about all 3 of the assignment choices. We are waiting for the spring assignment cycle announcements - hopefully in March!

We had a wonderful Christmas. My parents were here to spend time with us. While they were here this time, they got to play in the snow with the kids. How fun!! My Dad has a new video camera and taped the kids flying down the hill, here by our house.

Here is a family picture in front of the tree, before Christmas Eve Mass. We went over to a friends house and spent a wonderful evening with close friends.

Busy Time of the Year!

Can you believe it is almost Christmas? I am so excited. I am like a kid in the candy store! We had our first snow of the season last weekend. The kids had so much fun playing in the snow. They came home soaked, because of all of the rain that we have had over the past weeks! The snow makes it seem more like the holidays.

We picked up our tree over the weekend also. We have it almost all decorated. The trees upstairs in the kids' rooms are all decorated and they love it it.

We have a busy weekend. Saturday evening Tim is having his office over for a small party. Then on Sunday, we are having Caleb's 8th Birthday party! Wow, where does time go? Eight years ago, we brought home for the very first time a new little bundle. How things have changed since then!

We also found out that we are moving this summer. Our choices include: Vance AFB, Enid, OK, Anywhere in Germany/Europe, and Scott AFB, IL (just outside of St. Louis)! We will hopefully find out around Spring Break, what the Air Force has in store for us!

GO Air Force, BEAT Army/Navy! Woo Hoo
