The Last Month

Wow - what a busy month, we have had.

My oldest son had his last day of school on June 18. We packed up the car and headed out of Dodge. We went to MI and spent some time with Tim's family. We had a nice time and even made it up to the boat for a few days of no computer, cell phone, nor television! It was nice and relaxing.

Tim and I were able to escape for a few days to Las Vegas for a wedding. We had a wonderful weekend, we left the kids with my in-laws.

We got home and my oldest started Boy Scout camp for a week. The two little ones stayed home with me and my Sister, her Husband, and new baby arrived the next day. Then my Dad came in also for a few days. It was so much fun to see my kids with a new baby. They truly love her.

Last week, we were in Orlando. We had lunch the first day at Epcot with: Belle, Aurora, Ariel, Snow White, and Cinderella. We also had our pictures taken with Goofy, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and almost every other character from Disney you can think of! Including Cinderellas, Step Sisters and Step Mother and three of the new Disney Fairies. We went to Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Blizzard Beach, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios. We also took a day and went to Sea World.

We were very unimpressed with Sea World this time. With the Disney parks, you are allowed to bring in a small cooler with drinks and food - just no glass. Sea World absolutely not. Bottled water is $3.00 along with all the other drinks, plus, the military discount, is only for a family of four, we are five and Disney has the fast pass to get you on a ride a little earlier, or at a specific time, so that you don't have to wait so long, you have to pay for this privileged at Sea World.

Anyway - I don't have any desire to go back to Sea World for a few years. Disney, though, I am always ready to again.
